About Us

Eastern Branch Stormwater and Utilities specializes in Stormwater Management and BMP repair, maintenance, consulting, and inspection.  We also perform excavation services, utility repair and maintenance, and erosion and sediment control services.

Our company was founded in Virginia Beach, VA.  Our founder, Mike Jones, is a Virginia Beach native and graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 2012.

 

Before founding Eastern Branch Stormwater and Utilities in 2023, Mike began his construction career as a Project Manager on multi-million-dollar utility and highway projects serving localities such as the City of Virginia Beach and VDOT.  It was during this time that he gained extensive experience installing and maintaining various types of stormwater systems, and underground utilities including water, sewer, storm drain, communications, and electric power systems. 

 

Eastern Branch Stormwater and Utilities is Class "A" licensed and insured.  Eastern Branch Stormwater and Utilities holds specialty licenses in Highway/Heavy and Underground Utility and Excavating.  Mike Jones is a certified Stormwater Management Inspector with the Department of Environmental Quality.
